wholesomeness + flavor
In 2014 Jared represented Special Olympics at the United Nations in order to promote policy of acceptance in every nation. He wanted to "give back" to the organization that had done so much to "help me become a better me.” With the fruit (blackberries, plums, apples, strawberries, pears and peppers) from his family farm he began making jams to sell at a local farmers market. At the end of two years, Jared opted to shift his fundraising initiative to a small business.
Jared's older brother, Joshua, wished to complement Jared's small business; therefore he used his love of coffee to create specialty coffee blends for Jared's Jams. Roasting, grinding and adding natural ingredients to make coffee blends has allowed Jared to create breakfast baskets, gifts and offer more diversified products.
Jared remains very active in Special Olympics as an athlete, leader, spokesperson and advocate. This business allows him to continue to support the organization that has and continues to bless him.
